ELLIE AND ABBIE

Made on a modest budget, Carnival were engaged to create the key art after production had completed. As is often the case, photography featuring both lead cast members was limited and while early concepts focused upon the classroom setting, these failed to capture the cacophony of emotions experienced in adolescence. Our final image captures this but it needed elevation, so we developed a complex 3D scene featuring glitter streamers which ties into the a particular scene from the film. By using 3D to completely create the environment Ellie and Abbie are immersed within, we were able to create a dreamlike and beautiful scene for the final one sheet poster.
