DEVELOPING A CHILDREN'S TV SERIES FOR INTERNATIONAL SALES

Carnival Studio was engaged to develop an identity and key art for international children’s television series The Fo-Fo Figgily Show, created for preschoolers by 3 Productions. Each episode consists of three narrative acts, interstitials, two songs and has devoted segments with a focus on nutrition and exercise. Through storytelling, Fo-Fo learns numbers, shapes and letters, and explores concepts like working together, sharing, thinking of others and saying thank you. Fo-Fo encourages kids to make healthy choices and have fun.

 

From the creators of the show:
Fo-Fo Figgily and his friends discover new and exciting activities on the incredible island of Seabucklebark. This pre-school series brings our junior guests on fun-filled adventures, loaded with give-it-a-try learning, original music and healthy, exuberant fun!

Our creative development included key art development, typographic design of the title treatment including 3D texturing/rendering. We also contracted renowned typographer, Tal Leming of TypeSupply to, design and develop a custom typeface for exclusive use for The Fo-Fo Figgily Show.

So far the series has produced 28 short episodes with international sales managed by Escapade Media, including network sales to Discovery Networks MENA for the children’s channel DKids.
