On Chesil Beach

Working in collaboration with Transmission Films, Carnival was tasked with localising existing key art for On Chesil Beach for an Australian audience. Not completely satisfied with the international key art, the brief requested reworking the composition and incorporating new set photography to create a more cohesive and relevant piece of key art than the original discreet “floating body” composition. By finding new character poses and building new background art, a composition more befitting the narrative was created. New type design was also added, more appropriate to the drama of the film.
