BRIEF: Create a compelling key image that captures the essence of corporate corruption for the Stan / Revealed documentary on the Unaoil scandal, which is dubbed the most extensive and most damaging in history, destabilising democracies and causing untold misery for the benefit of few.

Our chosen concept focused on the backroom deal: a literal grubby handshake between wealthy lobbyists with crude oil seeping out over their hands. More subtle cues were added to the image, including binary code as pin-stripes, a US dollar suit print, subtle blood on shirt cuffs, a reference to wire transfers of billions of dollars, and the hurt these corrupt deals caused.

The image was modelled and rendered 100% as CGI, allowing complete control of the textures, fluids and lighting.
