Holy Days

Holy Days is a film with a huge heart, bolstered by an irresistible cast: Judy Davis, Jacki Weaver, Miriam Margolyes, and breakout newcomer Elijah Tamati. Our job was to bottle that charm and chaos in a single image.

We loved the idea of three nuns completely out of their element, so we pulled them out of the convent and dropped them on the stunning New Zealand coastline. That contrast, starched habits against wild, windswept scenery, instantly gave us the humour and warmth the film is built on.
