Carnival was engaged by long-time production partners Wooden Horse to develop pitch key art for The Airport Chaplain ahead of its presentation at Series Mania. The brief called for an image that placed the chaplain at the heart of the story – problem-solver, calm amid chaos – while reflecting the busy, multiracial airport environment central to the series’ identity and important to target broadcaster SBS.

The resulting key art helped the project secure international investor interest, and the series was subsequently commissioned and filmed. The Airport Chaplain, starring Hugo Weaving, Shabana Azeemi, Claudia Karvan, and Erroll Shand, is due for release in 2026 on SBS On Demand.

The brief was to tell the whole story in one frame — and get the series made.
