Sweet River

Shot at the height of the 2019 bushfires in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Sweet River is a tense supernatural thriller that has a distinctly eerie atmosphere, in part due to the heavy blanket of smoke across the region. Focusing on the pain and trauma from losing a child (or children in this case), the film follows Lisa Kay in her efforts to reconcile the disappearance of her son.

We were engaged by the producers to create two posters which focus on Lisa and the landscape, with the wide sugarcane creative featuring within the Netflix platform to accompany the new ensemble creative Netflix have also developed.
