THE CORRESPONDENT

ClientMaslow Entertainment ProjectKey Art

Carnival was engaged by the filmmakers and distributor to develop the theatrical key art for the film adaptation of journalist Peter Greste’s gruelling ordeal in a Cairo prison while covering the Arab Spring uprising for Al Jazeera News. While the film is primarily set within the prison, our creative direction sought to pay homage to the service of journalism to the public interest and the real and constant threats that journalists face, none less than Peter Greste, played by Richard Roxburgh in The Correspondent. We sought to build a sense of tension and employed a reportage feel, with Richard on edge and hinting at the trouble he will soon face.
